Ultrasonic Level Meter Measuring the Level Height of PE Pellets

Fuzhou Uni-President Enterprise Co., Ltd. produces beverage bottles for Uni-President's affiliated companies. The plant has multiple PE silos with heights ranging from 12 to 13 meters. The Dayu Xizi ultrasonic level meter manufactured by Fuzhou Dayu is used to measure the level height of PE pellets.

At the site, compressed air is used to blow PE pellets from tank trucks into the silos. The Dayu Xizi ultrasonic level meter detects the level height of the PE pellets and displays it in the control room. This allows the personnel responsible for material feeding to clearly observe the changes in the silo.

During normal production of beverage bottles, the PE pellets in the silo can be seen gradually decreasing. When the level drops to a certain point, suppliers are notified to deliver more material.

Mr. Yuan, the manager at Uni-President, said that after using the ultrasonic level meter, the operators find it very convenient. They no longer need to climb up to the silos to check the PE pellet level, which also reduces safety incidents for employees.
