Ultrasonic level meters are often powered by solar energy when installed and used at reservoirs or farmland sites, but selecting the communication method for transmitting data to the backend has become a perplexing challenge for users.

In mid-January, the Xikeng Reservoir in Hui'an, Quanzhou, was equipped with an ultrasonic level meter manufactured by Dayu Electronics. Since there was no power supply line on site, solar power was adopted,485 output, and data transmission was carried out using Huawei'sNB-IoT wireless module.

During the engineers' busy and professional installation and commissioning process, local staff also actively cooperated and learned the operations. Once everything was completed, the backend data was normal and the results were successful.
