IP68 Ultrasonic Water Level Meter Manual
IP68 ultrasonic water level meter uses ultrasonic waves for non-contact and wear-free detection of the target object. It adopts German physical sealing technology and comes with an internationally recognized IP68 waterproof and dustproof certification, making it suitable for a wide range of working conditions. The IP68 ultrasonic water level meter is safe and reliable, with a service life of up to 5 years.

Measurement principle of IP68 ultrasonic water level meter
The ultrasonic pulse emitted by the ultrasonic probe travels through the air to the water surface to be measured, and after reflection, returns through the air to the probe. Since both the transmission and reception times are known, the distance between the probe emitting surface and the water surface can be calculated based on this time × sound velocity ÷ 2. Calculation formula: D = C*t/2 (divided by 2 because the sound wave actually travels a round trip from emission to reception; D is the distance, C is the sound velocity, and t is the time). If the time difference between transmission and reception is 0.01 seconds, and the sound velocity is 340 m/s, then 340 m/s × 0.01 s = 3.40 m, and 3.40 m ÷ 2 = 1.70 m. That is, the distance between the probe emitting surface and the water surface is 1.70 m.
