I. Product Introduction
Non-contact and wear-free detection of the target object is achieved using acoustic wave media.
The ultrasonic water level meter is mainly used to detect sewage, river water, and clean water, and can measure the distance from the sensor's emitting surface to the water surface.
The product's protection rating reaches IP68, allowing it to withstand long-term immersion at depths up to 10 meters underwater without damage. (Note: The cable outlet of the instrument must be properly sealed after on-site wiring to prevent water ingress.)

II. Measurement Principle
The ultrasonic pulse emitted by the ultrasonic probe travels through the air to the measured water surface, is reflected, and then returns to the probe through the air. Since both the transmission and reception times are known, the distance between the probe's emitting surface and the water surface is calculated as this time × speed of sound ÷ 2.
Calculation formula: D = C*t/2
(Divided by 2 because the sound wave travels from emission to reception as a round trip; D is distance, C is the speed of sound, and t is time).
If the time difference between emission and reception is 0.01 seconds and the speed of sound is 340 m/s.
340 m/s × 0.01 s = 3.40 meters
3.40 meters ÷ 2 = 1.70 meters
That is, the distance between the probe's emitting surface and the water surface is 1.70 meters.
