Diesel Storage Tank HLS-BY03-FB Radar Level Gauge Monitoring System Construction Plan [Dayu Electronics]
In the daily operation of diesel storage tanks, precise level monitoring and threshold alarm are core links to ensure fuel supply continuity and avoid safety risks. An automated monitoring system built on the HLS-BY03-FB radar level gauge enables real-time level data monitoring and abnormal alarm, providing reliable technical support for refined diesel storage tank management.

The core acquisition device of this system is the HLS-BY03-FB radar level gauge, whose 2.9-meter measuring range fully meets the level monitoring needs of diesel storage tanks. The DC24V two-wire power supply design simplifies on-site wiring and reduces construction and maintenance costs. The device supports both 4~20mA analog and HART dual signal output; the 4~20mA signal can directly transmit level data, while the HART protocol supports remote reading of device working parameters and diagnosing operational faults, meeting both data acquisition and equipment management needs.

On-site deployment must comply with explosion-proof regulations. Install the level gauge at the center of the tank top, avoiding interference sources such as feed inlets and mixing devices, ensuring the radar beam points vertically at the liquid surface; use an explosion-proof junction box to seal cable connections, preventing oil and gas leaks from causing safety hazards. For signal transmission, power supply and data transmission are completed through a two-wire loop; the analog signal is converted to a digital signal via the acquisition module and then uploaded to the software monitoring platform.

The software platform must have three core functions: first, real-time data monitoring, dynamically displaying level values, trend curves, and equipment operating status, linked with tank basic information; second, threshold alarm configuration, supporting custom low-level thresholds—when the level drops below the set value, automatically triggering platform pop-ups, audible and visual alarms, and SMS/APP push notifications to ensure timely handling by management personnel; third, data traceability management, automatically storing historical data and generating reports, supporting data export and multi-dimensional query.
With a simple and reliable architecture, this system achieves automated and intelligent level monitoring of diesel storage tanks, effectively reducing manual inspection workload and preventing fuel supply interruption risks caused by low level, providing solid assurance for the safe and stable operation of diesel storage tanks.
