Fuzhou Dayu DY-6910 Wireless Radar Water Level Meter Supports Corn Production in Hulunbuir
Engineer Shen from Fuzhou Dayu traveled to the corn-producing area in Hulunbuir to commission the DY-6910 wireless radar water level meter, supporting irrigation in the region.

Corn is the main crop in Hulunbuir, and about 50% of local farmers rely on corn cultivation for their livelihood. Due to the dry climate, if irrigation is not timely, the entire year's harvest could be lost.
The Hulunbuir Water Resources Bureau is the authority responsible for providing irrigation water to the local corn-producing areas. With technological advancements, the bureau has installed GY-6910 wireless radar water level meters at several key irrigation channel inlets, powered by solar energy, transmitting real-time field measurement data to the control center via mobile networks. Local water authorities noted that previously they relied on manual judgment—waiting for a certain number of days without rain before releasing water. Now, they can directly assess the water deficit in corn fields, combined with rainfall statistics and weather forecasts, to schedule irrigation. This minimizes the impact of drought on corn production.
