ADCP Transducer for Offshore Aquaculture [Dayu Electronics]
Researching ADCP for sensor development, intended for offshore aquaculture, must withstand water depth of 150 meters.
1. Customer: Layered flow velocity needs to be fed back, right?
Answer: We need to know how many meters away you are measuring? And the specific dimensions of the transducer.
2. Customer: At a distance of around 20 meters, how large is your transducer?
Answer: We described the dimensions of our transducer rated for a maximum distance of 150 meters, approximately 120 mm in size.
3. Customer: What is the difference compared to the 40 mm internal control?
Answer: Different power, different frequency. You need to confirm the parameters before the dimensions can be determined.

4. Customer: Will the circuit board size be larger?
Answer: There will be a difference of a few millimeters.
5. Customer: How do we parse the data using your transducer? We don't need to extract the underlying data ourselves, right?
Answer: With a complete system, you don't need to calculate it yourself; if you only purchase the transducer, then you will need to calculate it yourself.
6. Customer: Mounted on a buoy, taking measurements periodically. Also, there are project-specific requirements.
Answer: You need to determine the layered measurement distance, and you must provide us with the structural drawing of your product so that we can customize the transducer to fit your structure.

7. Customer: Do the four transducers emit at the same frequency?
Answer: Yes, they are the same.
8. Customer: Is there any risk of interference?
Answer: They transmit in a round-robin sequence, so there is no interference.
9. Customer: Can we achieve layering at depths of over 100 meters?
Answer: In seawater, the range will be slightly shorter than in rivers because the viscosity of the water is different.

10. Customer: Is the product metrological verification available?
Answer: Single-point measurement can be verified, but there is no accredited institution capable of verifying layered measurements.
11. Customer: Are our product parameters the same as international standards?
Answer: We do not have access to a test channel over 100 meters deep, so we cannot yet achieve that level of verification.
12. Customer: How many layers are there at a water depth of 150 meters?
Answer: Under normal water temperature, one layer per meter. A gyroscope needs to be installed, and the data is analyzed based on the swing amplitude combined with our raw data.

13. Customer: We only want the transducer; we plan to make the housing ourselves.
Answer: We can adjust accordingly. However, the waterproofing and other requirements must still meet the standards.
14. Customer: We want to reduce the size to make installation easier.
Answer: The two boards must be spaced at least one centimeter apart. This may not be something you have considered, so you should send us your structural design for review.
15. Customer: The project has been approved, but due to staffing constraints, it won't start immediately. We will put it on hold for now and hope to stay in communication. We are not very familiar with sensor transducers. We'll have more questions later.
Dayu Electronics' products fall into four main categories: industrial control instruments, industrial sensors, marine equipment, and ultrasonic transducers. Product applications include: ultrasonic distance measurement, water level/flow rate/flow volume/mud level/water depth monitoring, underwater communication/positioning/obstacle avoidance.
